Introduction
|
Precision and excellent reproducibility are ensured at this wavelength by the unique optical circuit with narrow-band interference optical filters and the very high sensitivity electronic signal processing. In contrast to other photometers and colorimeters, no zero adjustment or calibration is normally required and no calibrating solutions are needed. The supplied individual Control Standard (a special permanent coloured glass optical filter) is uniquely matched to each unit and is used to verify factory calibration for user batch control. |
Description |
Maximum dimensions (W, D, H,): 178 x 127 x 43 mm. Weight (with batteries): 360gm. Measurement range: 0-300g/l There are no controls to operate. Measurement is initiated automatically and repeated every 4 seconds whilst a cuvette or the supplied Control Standard is present in the DHT Hb523 .Each measurement is accompanied by a short audible signal and the result is instantly displayed directly as Hb concentration in g/l (range: 0 to 300) on the liquid crystal display. The measured haemoglobin concentration value remains displayed whilst the cuvette is in the aperture and for up to 30 seconds after removal. The meter then automatically turns off and stays off until the next measurement is initiated by reinsertion of a cuvette. Last reading is stored and may be recalled from memory by single press of button “ L ” on rear of the meter. |
